Holiday Carriage Rides sponsored by Laughlin Furniture!

Updated: Nov 14, 2023

The Uptown Shelby Association is so excited to offer once again Carriage Rides leading up to the Christmas Holiday this year! We are delighted to have Charles Stroud and his beautiful strawberry blonde mules, Jill and Kate, as our ride providers again this year. Charles brings a beautiful white vis-à-vis carriage with 3 cushioned bench seats (two facing each other and one behind) that will comfortably fit 6 adults. Please be advised that, for safety reasons, we will only be allowing 6 persons on the carriage at a time. Children who can sit in a lap (typically considered age 2 or under) will not count toward this total.

We're also happy to announce Laughlin Furniture Outlet as our Carriage Ride Sponsor! Located right outside of Uptown at 400 N Lafayette Street in Shelby, Laughlin's is all about marking your home as comfy and beautiful as possible. From where you relax to where you eat, Laughlin's has all kinds of furniture to make each room in your home special.

Be sure to visit their website and follow their Facebook page to stay up-to-date on sales, events, and Food Truck Fridays!
