EVENTS + ATTRACTIONS

Uptown Shelby's vibrant district is home to several exciting, entertaining, and family-friendly events throughout the year. We work to make sure that our events are in line with our organization's mission, and that they are welcoming to all. We partner with several stakeholders in our district, and we work closely with our businesses to promote their events and special activities.

As a small team with limited resources, we cannot produce every event idea that comes to us, but we are always interested in hearing feedback on our current events, suggestions for new events, and meeting with local go-getters who are interested in bringing their ideas for events to life. • Uptown Block Party: Spring

• Seeds in Season: Autumn

• Annual Uptown Tree Lighting Ceremony: Last Saturday in November

• Holiday Carriage Rides: First 3 Fridays in December

• Annual Uptown Christmas Parade: Sunday before Christmas Eve
