From all of us at the Uptown Shelby Association, we hope you’ve had a wonderful start to 2025. In the USA office, we’ve spent January tidying up from the excitement of the holidays, and planning for what’s to come. We’re looking forward to a year full of fun in our district!

New wine bar, STEM, opens at 222 West Warren Street! STEM is a wine and dessert tasting room set for casual enjoyment of new and old world wines in a chic atmosphere. Located near Mi Pueblito and the Rail Trail Boardwalk, STEM adds more vibrancy to this part of Uptown and brings an additional spot for friends to gather and enjoy great food, drinks, and company. Spay Neuter Initiative of the Piedmont, now open at 209 South Dekalb Street! Spay Neuter Initiative of the Piedmont, also called “SNIP”, is a high-quality, high-volume, spay and neuter veterinary service provider.
