2025 CHRISTMAS PARADE APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Uptown Shelby Christmas Parade! This year's parade will be Sunday, November 30th at 3 p.m. Please read the following information before you begin. ENTRY CATEGORY PRICING
Only the following business and organization types receive free entry:

City of Shelby Government or Department (i.e. City Council, Police, Fire)
-
Cleveland County Commissioners and Public Safety (i.e. Commissioners, Sherriff's Department, EMS, Fire)
-
School marching bands
These organizations qualify for a reduced-rate entry cost of $50.00:

Businesses within Uptown Shelby District
These organizations qualify for a reduced-rate entry cost of $75.00:

Non-Profit Organizations

Schools and Youth Organizations
The following must pay the application fee of $150.00:

Businesses and organizations outside of the Uptown Shelby MSD

Political candidates
Please note: The Uptown Shelby Christmas Parade is planned, organized and produced by the Uptown Shelby Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, not the City of Shelby. Application fees are set by our Board of Directors to cover expenses associated with the Christmas Parade and to fund holiday activities in Uptown Shelby. Application fees are considered a donation and are therefore not refundable, including in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather as determined by our organization's Board of Directors.
