2024 CHRISTMAS PARADE APPLICATION

ENTRY CATEGORY PRICING

Only the following business and organization types receive free entry:

• Businesses within the Uptown Shelby Municipal Service District

• City of Shelby Councilmembers

• Cleveland County Commissioners

• Local emergency personnel 

• School marching bands

These organizations qualify for a reduced-rate entry cost of $50.00:

• All government officials not listed above 

• Schools, colleges and universities

• Nonprofit organizations

These organizations must pay the full application fee of $100.00:

• All business types not listed above

Please note: The Uptown Shelby Christmas Parade is planned, organized and produced by the Uptown Shelby Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, not the City of Shelby. Application fees are set by our staff team to cover expenses associated with the Christmas Parade and to fund holiday activities in Uptown Shelby. Application fees are not refundable regardless of reason, including cancellation due to inclement weather as determined by our organization's Board of Directors.
