We are governed by a Board of Directors, which meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. We meet at our offices, 211 South Trade Street. Uptown Shelby business and property owners and members of the public are welcome to inquire about attending.

All Main Street America™ Accredited programs meet a set of National Accreditation Standards of Performance as outlined by the National Main Street Center.
Uptown Shelby is a North Carolina Main Street Community, designated by the NC Department of Commerce and Main Street & Rural Planning Center. The Uptown Shelby Association is charged with administering the program at the local level and building public-private partnerships to spur economic development.
